How to invoice a sales order

Once you have delivered the products and the price has been approved, you can invoice the sales order. This article explains how to invoice a sales order from the sales order line.

 


 

Invoicing is a process step. With this step, you create the sales invoice. Follow the steps below to invoice the order and generate the Sales Invoice (8403) report.

 

 

Step 1: Open the order

 

Search and select the order you want to invoice on the module homepage. The sales order will open.

 

 

Step 2: Click on 'Invoice'

 

Above the line, click the Invoice

button or click in the Invoice field and open the window. Then click on "Invoice". MKG will automatically open the Sales Invoices module. At the top of your screen, you will see the Billing List, at the bottom the sales invoice to be created. From the Billing List, you can add lines to the sales invoice to be created. In this case, MKG has automatically placed the order line on the sales invoice to be created.

 

 

Step 3: Check the invoice address

 

In the header of the invoice to be created, you will find the invoice address with the default address and the default contact, as set up in the relation by checking the checkbox for the sales invoice. The addressing can be manually adjusted.

 

 

Step 4: Save

 

Click on Save Billing List

. The Sales Invoice (8403) report will appear. You can print it if desired.

 

 

Step 5: Go back to the sales order

 

Navigate to the sales order. In the sales order line, the Invoice field now has a checkmark. The invoice is created and the sales order is procedurally invoiced. The sales invoice can be sent to the customer. The sales invoice automatically creates an outstanding item in Outstanding Items Debtors.
