Finished product

In a production environment, a finished product is the completely manufactured item that is ready for sale to the customer or delivery to the next link in the chain. In ERP software, it is recorded as a sellable item with its own item number, inventory, cost price, and selling price, and it is the outcome of the entire production or assembly process as defined in the bill of materials.
