How to log in to the Shop Floor

You are at the beginning of your workday and want to start your first operation. To clock your hours, you first log in to the Shop Floor.

The Shop Floor can be used to clock direct and indirect hours on the work floor by starting and stopping manned and unmanned operations. Additionally, other actions can be performed, such as (partially) reporting completion of production orders.

The Shop Floor screen is set up for users to easily operate the software with large icons. Operation can be done via keyboard with mouse, touchscreen, or barcodes combined with a scanner. Individual user access can be granted using a badge.

Step 1: Log in

To clock hours, you need to log in to the Shop Floor. The terminal displays the login screen with employees registered in MKG as Shop Floor users. Only these employees can clock hours.

By tapping your name, a check is performed to see if you are logging in at the agreed time specified in the schedule. If you log in later than your start time, you need to provide a reason.

Display of the login screen
In the top right of the Shop Floor, you will find search queries and views in the form of tiles. For example, you can display employees per department on the screen. The layout adjustment of this login screen takes place in the MKG Client.
