What specifications does a tablet need to run the Smart Client?

When you want to use the MKG Smart Client, you need a tablet that meets certain hardware guidelines. This article provides our recommended specifications.

 

 

The MKG Smart Client is available on Windows (desktop and tablet) and on Android (tablet). If you want to run this Smart Client on a Windows or Android tablet, we recommend the specifications below. As tablet manufacturers often vary in specifications, especially when it comes to resolution, we advise using the specs in this article as a guideline.

 

Attention!
On the Android version of the Smart Client, it is currently not possible to open file paths from Windows. You can generate a sticker report or OGK, but you cannot open drawings. We are working on developing a SharePoint link in the Smart Client to enhance this functionality. The Smart Client on a Windows tablet can already open these files.
