In the NXTGEN High-tech projects Autonomous Factory and Smart Supply Network, we work with other parties on new applications and technologies, digitizing factories and the supply chain.

Strengthening the manufacturing industry

 

The urgency of new technological applications is high, new solutions are desperately needed. MKG therefore participates in the NXTGEN High-tech projects Autonomous Factory and Smart Supply Network, with the aim of strengthening the Dutch manufacturing industry. Both projects have a duration of seven years. During this period, concrete use cases are developed step by step through various work packages to ultimately accelerate innovation.

Autonomous Factory

 

The development and implementation of process optimization in a high-tech production environment; highly complex, in low volumes. Innovation is central to the NXTGEN High-tech Autonomous Factory project. To realize solutions, the entire process must become smart: Smart Manufacturing, Smart Working and Smart System Engineering. Robotization, new production and assembly technologies, flexible and digitalized processes and flexible logistics are indispensable elements. Operating support systems, education and training also play an important role.

Smart Supply Network

 

Deepening and scaling up the Smart Connected Supplier Network (SCSN) is the core of the NXTGEN High-tech Smart Supply Network project. Within this project, manufacturing companies are working on the digital exchange of information in the supply chain, allowing companies to share data more easily, quickly and reliably.
