Determine which MKG employees get access to your environment

Previously, MKG employees had default access to the client's MKG. Through the MKG users module, administrators can now determine when which MKG employees have access to their system. For a smooth transition, there is a rule set that all MKG employees will still have standard access until 01-02-2027. 

 

Module Setup

MKG users is by default only authorized for administrators. The module offers the possibility to grant MKG employees access to your system for a specific period. You can specify whether you want to grant access to specific MKG employees or all MKG employees. Additionally, you have the option to make this access inactive, so you can always revoke access.

 

Using the Module

To grant access to an MKG employee, you need to add a new rule 

and fill in these fields:

• MKG users: A comma-separated list of login credentials of MKG employees you want to grant access to. For example: mkg_abc, mkg_xyz. Enter personal login credentials here, as in the example, to grant access to specific employees. Or use an asterisk (*) to grant access to all employees.
• Date from: The start date from which the specified users have access.
• Date to: The end date when access for the specified users will be revoked.
• Active: This determines whether the access is currently valid.
• Memo: Here you can optionally add comments. This field is optional. 

 

Considerations, Tips, and Limitations

• By default, there is a rule that grants all MKG employees access. If you remove this rule, no MKG employee will have access to your MKG client, including our support staff.
• Only one rule can exist per period in the MKG users module. If you want to grant access to multiple MKG employees for a specific period, do not create a new rule, but add these MKG employees to the existing rule.
