MKG Client Software installation for MKG Cloud

MKG has various cloud environments. To access MKG via the cloud, the MKG Client Software needs to be installed on the workstation. This installation guide contains the instructions for downloading and installing the MKG Client Software.

 


 

Please note!
By performing this installation, any existing installation of the MKG Client will be overwritten. You need to have administrator rights to carry out the installation of the MKG Client Software. If you do not have these rights, please contact your system administrator. Additionally, you will need the MKG Cloud environment name and the server name.

 

 

Step 1: Download

 

Click below on the Download button. This will download the file client.exe (32.9 MB). Click on the saved file - in your browser or in the 'Downloads' folder - to start the software installer.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Install

 

Close all other applications before starting the installation. You will first be asked in which language you want to install: Deutsch, English, or Nederlands. Choose the desired language and click OK. The MKG Client Software installation wizard will open:

  1. Click Next.
  2. Select the environment: choose for which environment you want to perform the client setup. The setup in this guide concerns a cloud environment. Select MKG Cloud environment.
  3. Select the MKG Cloud environment: your specific cloud environment has been predetermined in consultation with MKG. Select the correct environment and click Next.
  4. Select the MKG Cloud server: your cloud server has also been predetermined in consultation with MKG. Select the correct cloud server. By clicking Next now, the file client.exe will be installed on your system.
  5. Complete the installation wizard with Finish. The MKG Client Software is now installed. There is now a shortcut on your desktop to start MKG. Check the 'Start MKG' box if you want to start the MKG client immediately. The login details must have already been provided to actually log in.

 

Errors during installation?
If you encounter errors during the installation of the MKG Client Software, (re)use the Download button to try the universal setup. If it still doesn't work, please contact the MKG Helpdesk.
