Meldingen inzetten voor materiaalcertificaten

Met een maatvoering van M5 tot liefst M180 en in de lengtes tot zo'n 6 meter produceert Hetraco ‘special fasteners’. Deze special fasteners, zoals bouten, moeren en tapeinden, worden in de machinefabriek gemaakt, Dutch Bolting Company, waarbij het specialisme ligt in het draadwalsen in plaats van het snijden. Hetraco bedient wereldwijd de apparatenbouw, de petrochemie, de maritieme sector en de offshore, marktsegmenten die stuk voor stuk gecertificeerde producten eisen.

"Leveringen met diverse certificeringen zijn dus dagelijkse business voor ons", aldus Boris te Winkel, algemeen directeur van Hetraco. "Wij hanteren dan ook een kwaliteitsbeleid dat erop gericht is om de kwaliteit en de certificering van het af te leveren product te kunnen blijven garanderen en beheersen."

Voor Boris was het daarom van meet af aan duidelijk dat deze materiaalcertificaten binnen MKG ondergebracht moesten worden. In het verleden werd dit in MKG004 nog met behulp van formules in memovelden opgelost, een werkwijze die in MKG5 echter niet mogelijk is.

"Met MKG consultant Martijn Timmer ben ik daarom tijdens de transitie naar MKG5 gaan zitten om te zien of onze wens, nee: eis, om met materiaalcertificaten in MKG te kunnen blijven werken, kon worden ingewilligd." Dat bleek te kunnen. Enthousiast over de oplossing legt Boris uit hoe het Meldingenbeheer binnen MKG werkt voor Hetraco.

De toepassing

Op het moment dat een inkooporder wordt binnengeboekt, wordt een partij aangemaakt. Via de inkooppakbon kun je meteen naar de partij en aldaar naar het tabblad 'Meldingen'. Hier kan het speciaal voor dit doel aangemaakte meldingtype 'Materiaalcertificaat' worden geselecteerd. Bij de 'Antwoorden' vul je de certificaatwaarden in op basis van het originele certificaat dat bij de inkoop van het materiaal is meegekomen. Dit is het enige dat hoeft te worden ingegeven. Het originele certificaat wordt daarna als document gekoppeld aan de partij. Vervolgens kan een productieorder worden aangemaakt op basis van het materiaal (altijd een artikel). Bij het reserveren van de voorraad wordt de partij geselecteerd en de juiste aantallen worden uitgegeven. Nadat de productie is gereedgemeld, wordt via de rapportage het Hetraco-certificaat - waarop het eindproduct en de waarden van de gekoppelde materiaalcertificaten die vanuit Meldingen zijn ingegeven, vermeld staan - gegenereerd.

En niet alleen over de oplossing voor het onderbrengen van de eigen materiaalcertificaten in MKG is Boris enthousiast: "Alle materialen en partijen met certicaten zijn voor mij in één oogopslag inzichtelijk via het Voorraaddashboard. Zo kan ik bij spoedorder real time zien of er voldoende materiaal is binnen een partij met het juiste certificaat."

Al bij het aanmaken van een stuklijst kunnen er specificaties en specificatiecodes worden vastgelegd bij materialen en uitbestedingen die verderop in het proces, bij calculaties en productieorders, verbijzonderd kunnen worden. Ook kan ervoor gekozen worden om de specificaties opnieuw te bepalen op basis van de huidig geldende inkoopprijsafspraken van artikelen.
