MKG op de Technishow: "Een duidelijk verhaal dat relevant is voor de hele maakindustrie"

Een unicum op een beurs: tijdens Vakbeurs TechniShow is een heuse fabriek neergezet. Negen verschillende partijen uit de productietechnologie hebben een heuse geïntegreerde productieautomatisering opgezet. Op het zogenoemde Themaplein Productieautomatisering konden bezoekers alle stappen van een moderne productieomgeving meemaken. Met aan het einde van de ‘fabrieks-tour’ een live gemaakt product.

Unieke samenwerking

De fabriek op het Themaplein is een live opstelling, zoals die ook in een echt maakbedrijf te vinden is. Dat houdt in dat er orderintake, gereedschappen, een AGV, integratie met machines, robotcellen en alle bijbehorende software aan te pas komen. Naast MKG deden Bendertechniek, Cellro, DMG Mori, HEIDENHAIN, Hoffmann Group, Laagland, Renishaw en SupplyDrive mee aan het project. De basisstappen zijn robotiseren, automatiseren, digitaliseren en logistieke integratie. De deelnemende partners vulden allemaal een stapje in.

Een uniek project. Niet alleen dat er een echte fabriek op een beurs staat, maar ook dat concurrenten met elkaar samenwerken. In een moderne productieomgeving zul je juist moeten samenwerken. Zo’n plein komt niet tot stand als je het grotere verhaal niet ziet. Je moet je eigen belangen overstijgen, dat is in het bedrijfsleven ook zo. Data is tegenwoordig cruciaal, zeker als het gaat om productieautomatisering. Op het plein wordt de data verzameld en gekoppeld aan het ERP-systeem. De partners willen met zijn allen laten zien dat je het proces kan doorlopen zonder dat je handmatig data hoeft toe te voegen. Simpel gezegd: de data gaat in het proces, de handen ervan af en aan het einde komt er een kant-en-klaar product uit. Alle machines en systemen praten met elkaar. En snappen elkaar.

MKG en de slimme fabriek

Binnen het Themaplein Productieautomatisering verzorgde MKG de geautomatiseerde orderverwerking. Bezoekers maakten in de MKG ERP-software een order aan om vervolgens door een AR-bril de kracht van data-integraties te kunnen zien. Niet alleen real-time inzicht in de lopende order door de slimme integraties met machines en andere productiemiddelen, maar ook inzicht in de planning via de Shop Floor-module. Door deze volledig geïntegreerde orderplanning worden uren met gereedmelding automatisch teruggekoppeld. Geen handmatige urenregistratie meer. En door de digitale werkinstructie op de Shop Floor is papier overbodig. Ook de ondertekening van de pakbon - die uiteraard automatisch gekoppeld is aan de pakbon in het ERP-systeem - gebeurt digitaal. MKG heeft op deze manier de bezoeker laten ervaren hoe hij een efficiënter werkproces kan bereiken met een volledig geautomatiseerde orderverwerking. Niet meer uitvoerend, maar controlerend.

Smart Industry

De MKG ERP-software zorgt er dus voor dat data door de gehele fabriek gedeeld kan worden. Henk Abbring, directeur van MKG: "Daardoor kunnen we goed zien of alles is gegaan zoals het moet, zonder dat er een mens aan te pas hoeft te komen. We verzorgen hiermee een digitale fabriek en zijn daarmee het administratieve kloppende hart van een bedrijf. Onze missie is om bedrijven excellent te laten presteren. Dat lukt alleen als je samenwerkt en goed met elkaar koppelt. Op het Themaplein kunnen we dit presenteren en vormgeven. Dit plein is ons op het lijf geschreven, want hier zijn we dagelijks mee bezig. We zijn niet voor niets Smart Industry Ambassadeur in het Smart Industry Fieldlab ‘Smart Connected Supplier Network’ (SCSN) dat als doel heeft om de Nederlandse maakindustrie te versterken en de digitale fabriek te realiseren. We laten met ons allen op Technishow een duidelijk verhaal zien dat relevant is voor de hele maakindustrie."

CNC Gear koppelt Lantek in een dag aan MKG ERP
