Liquidity Amounts Maintenance: Process Table
|
Note! |
Liquidity components must be typed with a 'Type'. This can be done in the following ways:
- Income. This allows amounts to be recorded in the liquidity forecast that are going to be received. These amounts are independent of VAT that is to be refunded and/or the receipts from outstanding debtors.
- Expenditure. This allows amounts to be recorded in the liquidity forecast that are going to be paid. These amounts are independent of VAT that must be paid or payments to existing outstanding creditors.
- Bank. This liquidity type is linked to a journal from the financial administration. In addition to the linkage with a journal, the credit limit of a bank account can also be specified to show any limit exceedances. For 'Banks', a general ledger account must be linked. This determines the starting balance. If a credit limit is applicable to the chosen bank and it should also be shown in the overview, it can be entered here. For multiple banks, the credit limits will be totaled.
Below is an example of a bank account linked to the Liquidity module:
In addition to the amount, it can also be specified whether VAT is applicable. The field General Ledger Account is only mandatory for the type 'Bank'. For income or expenditure, the date of the first payment and the frequency can be entered (one-time, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, every 4 weeks).
Finally, 'Active' or 'Inactive' can be chosen. This way, amounts can be excluded from the liquidity forecast without needing to be deleted. By marking amounts as 'Active' again, they are included in the forecast.
