The versatility of the work makes it so appealing

“In 2019, I joined MKG, initially to take over some administrative and reception tasks. I was fortunate to subsequently join the Support Tool team as a content employee, due to this administrative background. This team supports users and other MKG teams by creating and managing support tools, such as My MKG. We share the knowledge and information about the software as much as possible with users, both inside and outside MKG.

What I enjoy about the Support Tool team is its versatility, and the fact that we can contribute to almost all areas of the organization, ensuring that not only users but also our colleagues can work as pleasantly as possible. We continuously think about improvements. Together with another colleague, I mainly focus on writing texts according to MKG's house style. We elaborate on the release notes, place manuals and other items for the Knowledge Center, and are involved with the courses, this newsletter, and the website. Besides the texts, we also consider the issues we have within MKG and test what the developers in our team have created before it is implemented for all MKG users.

 


Precisely because I do not have a technical background, I often look at things from a very different perspective than my colleagues who often view things from a technical standpoint. This often leads us to the best solutions. I try to develop texts in such a way that they are understandable for everyone, regardless of whether you are an experienced MKG user or not. I am very satisfied with my work. I work in a nice and pleasant team. And because I am gaining more knowledge of the software and gaining more experience, which makes me more versatile, my work becomes more interesting and varied every day.”
