“As an MKG user from the very beginning, we have functionally organized our business process. For over 30 years, we have closely monitored what is happening around us, both in the world in general and specifically in the metal sector. During the visit of the MKG consultant, this was discussed, which led to the MKG Improvement Cards being brought to the table.

Together with the associated actions, the discussed improvement points are laid out in a timeline. This creates a realistic plan. This improvement plan is digitally recorded in My MKG, so we can keep track of the progress ourselves and monitor actions. One of the components of the plan was the functional setup of authorization, making the correct software modules available at the function level. Afterwards, we started the Planning and Shop Floor project to have production information digitized and available at the right time on the shop floor. Now that this process is also running smoothly, we are shifting the focus to financial handling, such as work in progress, inventory, and results per customer.

Laying the cards has helped us determine the right objectives. It has also helped us set priorities in relation to our ambitions, allowing us to fully align our organization and processes.”
