How to set the report definition of the reminder

To work with reminders, your system must be set up accordingly. You sequentially configure the process numbering, the report definition, and the reminder status. This article explains how to set the report definition of the reminder run in MKG.

Each report in MKG consists of at least a report definition. This forms the basis of a report. The report definition contains the general data of a report, such as the description, category, and export purpose. After you have checked and possibly adjusted the process numbering of the reminder run, you set the report definition. Follow the step-by-step plan below to do this quickly and easily.

Step 1: Go to the report definitions

Open the Report Definitions module. You will immediately see the list of available report definitions. First, check if the report definition for the reminder already exists. If not, proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Create a new report definition

Click on Report Definition

to create a new report definition. Ensure the Detail is visible.

Step 3: Fill in the Detail of the report definition

Now fill in the following fields. It is important to follow this order:

  1. Enter a relevant description in the Description field, for example, "Reminder".
  2. Select the 'DevExpress' option for Data Source.
  3. Search for the document 'Debtors|212|debi' in LDM Document.
  4. Select the report 'Reminder (8632)' in XtraReport.
  5. Set the Category to 'Sales'.

Step 4: Save the report definition

Click on Save

. The report definition is now set. The next step in the system setup of the reminder involves setting the reminder status.
