How to include a sales quotation in calculation

After creating a sales quotation by filling in the header details, you create a sales quotation line. Fill in relevant fields here, even if a drawing is included with the price request. If you already know the quotation price, enter it in the Gross field and you can offer the quotation. However, if you want to substantiate your quotation price with a calculation, follow the steps below.

 

 

Step 1: Open the quotation

 

Search and select the quotation you want to include in the calculation on the module homepage. The sales quotation opens.

 

 

Step 2: Create a sales quotation line

 

Click on Sales Quotation Line

to create a new line. Double-click before the line to open it. Fill in the Description and Order Quantity fields and, if a drawing is included with the price request, possibly the Drawing, Revision, and Pos fields. Finally, click on Save .

 

 

Step 3: Include the line in calculation

 

Now click on Include in Calculation

. The action 'Include in Calculation' is a process step that you need to confirm. Click on Yes.

 

 

Step 4: Navigate to the sales quotation

 

Through the navigation bar, open the list view of the sales quotation. In this list, the Include in Calculation field in the sales quotation line now contains a checkmark. The status of the line has changed from 'Created' to 'In Calculation'.

 

 

Step 5: Navigate to the calculation

 

There are two ways to navigate to the linked calculation.

• Click in the Include in Calculation field on the down arrow to open the window. This window contains a link to the created calculation and shows the calculation number. Click on this link.
• Double-click in the Include in Calculation field.
