With the Pick List action it is now possible to only partially put an existing reservation on a Pick List and keep the remainder of the reservation. For this purpose, the option 'Cancel Remaining Reservation (yes/no)' has been added in the Pick List Detail.
Old situation Suppose that in a material line with 10 pieces, the 10 pieces were fully reserved and that in the Pick List action the entry has been adjusted from 10 to 2 pieces.
- Demand is provided after this reservation = no
When the Pick List was then saved, there was a reservation of 2 pieces on the Pick List and the material line again had a demand for 8 pieces that had to be reserved again.
New situation Suppose that in a material line with 10 pieces, the 10 pieces are fully reserved and that in the Pick List action the entry is adjusted from 10 to 2 pieces.
- Demand is provided after this reservation = no
- Cancel remaining reservation = yes
If the Pick List is now saved, there will be a reservation of 2 pieces on the Pick List and a reservation of 8 pieces will remain that can later be placed on another Pick List.
Report Pick List The above functionality has also been added to the Report Pick List action. For example, if 2 of the 10 items on the Pick List actually need to be issued, you can also choose not to cancel the remainder of the reservation. Here too, a reservation of 8 pieces remains, which can later be placed on another Pick List.
Administration Settings The option 'Issue Later (Retain Remaining Reservation)' has been added to the administration setting 'Default Handling of Remaining Demand'. This ensures that when you lower the entry in the pick list, the 'Demand is Provided after This Reservation' remains set to 'Yes' and that 'Cancel Remaining Reservation' is set to 'No'. This will automatically save the remainder of the reservation.
