This article describes the administration settings on the 'Inventory' tab. On this tab you will find the default settings for Warehouse, Goods Receipt linked Purchase, Report Ready linked Production, Report Ready Underlying Sub-assembly, Returns and Default Demand Selection.

Based on the allocated budgets for all employees and all operations, you fill in the Occupancy Plan, a matrix in which you indicate who is expected to do what for the coming year. You use the Coverage Plan to divide all costs, except labor costs, over the direct and indirect operations and to divide all indirect hours over the direct operations.

The advantage of a picklist is the control and oversight over the inventory situation. By not issuing material lines directly, an additional step is necessary, where it is checked whether the stock is actually available. As a result, a picklist must be reported back.

The software includes several groups within the units: 'Quantity', 'Weight', 'Length', 'Area', 'Miscellaneous', 'Time', and 'Volume'. Each group has a base unit. From this base unit, a ratio is determined in relation to other units within the group.
