Didn't Attend ESEF? Then You Missed This!

Recently, the ESEF Manufacturing Industry 2022 took place at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, where smart manufacturing solutions were presented as answers to supply and engineering challenges. If you were not at ESEF, you missed our smart manufacturing solution.

MKG stand ESEF

The MKG booth was set up to showcase the capabilities of the MKG API in a unique live demonstration. In a beta setup, a malfunction report was first created. Based on this report, a sales order and a production order were automatically generated via the MKG API, and the employee's hours were recorded. From the production order, the NC program was then automatically sent to the Heidenhain machine—which was located nearby at the Heidenhain booth. This machine itself wrote the completed quantities and hours back to the production order in MKG. After the production order was completed, a packing slip was created, which could then be signed on an Apple iPad. After signing, this was automatically linked to the sales order in MKG.

Of course, we thank Heidenhain, Hoffmann, Kumatech, and Supplydrive for enabling the beta setup at ESEF. In addition to these partners, MKG is in discussions with various parties in the market to develop integrations. Think of CAD, CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote), AGV, automated work preparation based on product drawings, and tool cabinets. Integrations with the main applications in the metal sector will become available to MKG customers within the next 12 months.
