Working with Clients on Improvements

“As a senior consultant, I work daily with clients on improvements in their business in conjunction with our MKG software. These issues are incredibly diverse, which keeps the work constantly challenging. It ranges from the desire to quickly gain more insight from the data to reorganizing business processes.

My approach always starts with the content. Together with the client, we look at what the goal is and how it can be realized. Sometimes something can be resolved quickly, but asking the right questions is always important to ensure that the chosen solution also leads to satisfaction in the long term.

My personal drive is always to look at what is realistic. What a client would like to achieve with our software sometimes cannot be accomplished 100%, but 95%. This already makes a significant impact. And the remaining 5% can often be fulfilled in another way.

In addition to improvement projects, I also guide new clients in the implementation of MKG and assist MKG004 clients in transitioning to MKG5. This transition can often happen quickly and also offers the opportunity to immediately implement some improvements for the client. Once operational on MKG5, the path is open for further optimization projects.

Wout Vloemans

Despite the limitations due to Corona, my workweek is often filled with 3 or 4 days of visiting clients. The remaining days are spent in internal meetings with colleagues, working on knowledge transfer, making necessary phone calls, answering client inquiries, and further organizing our work.

The clients I visit are mainly located in the south and west of the country. I am also the team leader for Consultancy in these regions. In the team (and also beyond), we frequently discuss client situations and configuration choices we make with clients. This is very valuable; colleagues often have very good ideas as well.

With fellow team leaders, we combine the ideas within MKG to also work on internal improvements.

My job involves a lot of sitting. Behind the PC, or in the car. Hence, in my free time, I am often found outdoors. Walking in nature, or on the racing bike. Currently, I am preparing for a long ride in the French Alps, the Marmotte.

If you want to start an improvement project with MKG yourself, do not hesitate to contact your regular consultant.”
