Adding Packaging to a Delivery Note

You can now easily add packaging to your sales delivery note in MKG. In the Delivery Note List and in existing sales delivery notes, the 'Add Packaging' service is now available on the 'Packaging' tab. The tab contains a pivot table to which you can add the packaging. Here, you distribute the quantities of the delivery note lines over the available packaging.



Click 'Add Packaging' , choose which packaging you want to use and the quantities. In this example, 2 Euro pallets are chosen and added to the pivot table. Two columns are added with Packaging 1 and Packaging 2. You can now distribute the items over the number of packaging you have added. For instance, when you add a quantity of 5 to a packaging, the number of items assigned to a packaging automatically changes, as well as the remaining quantity that has not yet been assigned to a packaging.

Want to add more packaging or modify a packaging, for example, to 1 Euro pallet instead of 2? Change the quantity for the second Euro pallet to 0 and click 'Save'. If you do not distribute all quantities over the packaging, the message appears: “The quantity of line(s) 1 is not fully distributed over the packaging. Do you still want to save the delivery note?”. If you then choose 'Yes', you will see that the second column has disappeared.
