CRM within MKG


CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management; the way an organization manages its relationship and interaction with (potential) customers.

Within MKG, the MKG5 software is also utilized. Although we do not have a production department ourselves, nearly everything on the sales and financial side is done with MKG. This includes recording quotes and sales orders, followed by complete invoicing and financial follow-up.
The CRM module is what we use most with the Sales department. A significant part of our daily work involves registering all customer contacts. This pertains to both potential customers and existing ones. The Activities Management module in MKG is used intensively for this purpose. Within this module, we have created smart filters that present the registered user with the exact tasks that need to be performed on that day or week. This includes follow-up calls, but also the issuance of quotes and customer visits are recorded here.

Within activities management, different views can be used. While some people prefer working from lists sorted by date, others are more charmed by the agenda view that evokes the Outlook feel.

Additionally, a major advantage is that we as a sales department always have our activities with us on our mobile. By using the MKG App, it is possible to view all activities in real-time and we also have all the information about our relationships at hand. This includes contact persons, phone numbers, and the issued quotes. In the MKG App, new activities can be created immediately, or existing activities can be edited, which are then stored back in the MKG database.

In short: we are very pleased with the possibilities that the MKG software also offers us!
