Dashboard 'Inventory over Time (8000)': general explanation

The standard dashboard 'Inventory over Time' runs per item and shows how the inventory of the item will change in the future, based on the current inventory and known inventory mutations in the future.

Where in MKG?

  1. Open the Items module and select an item.
  2. If the dashboard is not displayed immediately: click the hamburger menu
    at the top right of the toolbar and select the option 'Forms' » 'Dashboard'.
  3. Click the Views
    button and select Inventory over Time (8000).

 

Parameters

  • Date until: the date up to which the dashboard displays data and calculates the stock level.
  • Exclude Forecast Orders: if this option is checked, forecast orders are not included in determining the future stock.

 

Special notes

  • In the 'Batch Transactions' table, orders belonging to the backlog are displayed with an orange circle containing an exclamation mark. Forecast orders in the table are colored according to the module they belong to; green for sales, red for purchasing, and blue for production.
  • The color of the bars in the 'Inventory Transactions over Time' chart is determined by the module they belong to. The backlog is shown in orange, and forecast orders are displayed in a lighter color depending on the module they belong to.
