Shortcuts and Hyperlinks on Your Homepage

The MKG Homepage can be fully customized to your preferences. The modules you use frequently, the actions you perform daily. One tile might be larger than another, perhaps. And you can add tiles just as easily as you remove them. This is nothing new. What is new, however, is that you can now also add shortcuts to file locations or hyperlinks to websites on your own homepage. This can be useful if, for example, you have a folder with drawings that you often consult. With one click, you go directly to the correct folder!



Go to a module group on the MKG Homepage or create a separate group. Click on the gear icon. In the pop-up window, you will now also find the 'Files' tab. The description you enter will be visible on the tile to be created. Enter the file location and click 'OK'. The Drawings tile is now added to the module group. Note that it is only possible to link files that are accessible from the MKG client.



In addition to file locations and hyperlinks, you can also create a shortcut to physical files and even other applications. This way, for example, you can open the Shop Floor smart client directly, right from your homepage.
