Adjustment of Rounding Method When Entering Discount
|
In the sales quotation line, sales order line, and sales invoice line, in the purchase order line and the quotation request line (response), and in sales price agreements (item) and the price list line, you now have the option to enter a value of 6 decimals in the Discount field instead of 2 decimals. When entering a discount percentage, this field will also be calculated to 6 decimals. Additionally, Net will now be determined with a precision of 6 decimals. Interim rounding differences are prevented by this adjustment. ExampleYou have a sales order line of 10,000 units with a gross price of € 0.05 per unit. On this gross price, you give a 25.00% discount. In the old situation, this discount percentage resulted in a discount of € 0.01 per unit, a net price of € 0.04 per unit, and a total price of € 400.00:
In the new situation, this same percentage will yield a discount of € 0.012500 per unit, a net price of € 0.037500 per unit, and a total price of € 375.00:
