Error message 1247

Cause

The error message Invalid unit '%1'. No ratio is known for the unit. appears, for example, when creating a production order from a sales order if a material line is included in the bill of materials or calculation of the item that uses a unit invalid for that item.

Solution

1. Inspect all material lines of the relevant calculation/bill of materials and check which item uses a unit for which no conversion factor has been entered.
2. Adjust the unit in the calculation or bill of materials and/or specify the conversion factor for the item.
