How Does the Activities Tab Work in My MKG?

Do you have an upcoming appointment with an MKG consultant? Or a course? Or do you need to perform an action as part of the implementation plan? In My MKG, all your appointments are recorded on the Activities tab. This article explains how this tab works.

The 'Activities' tab has an interactive setup. Every appointment you make with MKG or that is made for you by your colleague is listed here as an activity. Whether it is an appointment with an MKG consultant, an action as part of the implementation plan, or a course. You can also add your own action items here.

Action List

On the left side of the screen is the Action List. This list contains only the actions you need to perform. They depend on activities initiated by yourself, a colleague, or an MKG member. Actions include approving a date proposal for a course. Also, when there is a change in an activity, it may mean an action is expected from you. You will then see a notification bubble appear on the tab label.

Calendar

In the center of your screen, you see the calendar. Here you find all your activities in one overview. By default, the calendar is displayed in month view. You can easily set a view by day or workweek. The current day is highlighted. You can also display the calendar in a list view. Activities awaiting approval are displayed in italics.

The activities 'Consultancy' and 'Course' will remain on the day of request in your calendar as long as the date proposed by MKG for this activity is not approved by all users. The activities 'Action Item' and 'Implementation Step' will appear on the current day in your calendar if you do not assign them a different date.

Above the calendar are three buttons:

  NEW Create a new activity.
  Manually refresh the data.
Filter the items in your calendar by activity type or completed.

Activity

Above the calendar in My MKG, you create a new activity with NEW. The detailed information about the activity becomes visible on the right side of your screen. You then choose one of the following types: 'Consultancy', 'Action Item', 'Course', or 'Implementation Step'. In the article How to Create an Activity in My MKG? we delve deeper into the activity itself.
