Ferro support in MKG and My MKG

In mid-November, we will launch our new support contracts, of which Ferro support will be a part. Leading up to these contracts, you can use the full Ferro functionality for free.

What is Ferro support?

Ferro has already been providing support in your ERP environment for some time. This support has now been expanded thanks to a connection with My MKG. This connection allows Ferro to retrieve information directly from the MKG Knowledge Center for you. So if you have a question or get stuck, you can quickly get help from the Ferro chat within your ERP environment. You can also use the Ferro chat in My MKG to get faster answers to your questions. You can ask questions such as:

• 'How do you create a sales order?'
• 'How do you adjust a report?'
• 'How do you resolve error message 1113?'

If you still can’t find an answer, you can convert your chat into a ticket so our support team can further assist you. This way, you'll spend less time formulating your question and you'll be able to quickly return to your more important tasks.

What else does Ferro do?

Not only has the support function been expanded: Ferro can now also perform more varied tasks for you. Where previously you could mainly give simple commands, such as "Open the Sales Orders module" or "Show me all outstanding items of debtor X," you can now also have him create and modify data. To summarize, Ferro can now do the following:

• Open modules. For example:
  • 'Open Production Orders'
  • 'Open the item 'arm holder' for me'
• Look up data (per line, across multiple lines, or from your own LDM fields). For example:
  
  • 'What is the email address of our relation MKG'
  • 'Show all sales orders from salesperson X with order number and order date'
  • 'Show all addresses of our relation MKG'
• Create lines (maximum 10 at a time). For example:
  • 'Add address Lintelerweg 35, 7556 PD Hengelo to relation MKG'
• Modify data (maximum 10 at a time). For example:
  • 'Change the phone number of relation MKG to +31 (0)74 24 23 654'
• Process files (PDF and PNG). For example:
  • 'Convert this business card [attached] into a relation with a contact person and address'
  • 'Create a sales order for debtor X from this purchase order [attached]'

What does Ferro not do?

All our AI developments are intended to make your work easier. At the same time, we want to make sure the margin for error stays as low as possible. To ensure safe use and to prevent mistakes, Ferro currently does not perform the following tasks:

• Delete lines
• Perform actions (such as creating invoices, marking orders as ready, and submitting quotations)
• Analyze data
