Change in authentication flow for Graph connection (Outlook New)

The Graph connection now uses the modern OAuth2 Authorization Code Flow with PKCE instead of the deprecated implicit flow. This adjustment requires action after the update!

Are you using the Outlook New/Microsoft Graph connection? Then you must immediately adjust the 'MKG ERP Graph E-mail' app registration in Entra after the update:

1. Remove the existing SPA redirect URI.
2. Add a new redirect URI of the platform type 'Mobile and desktop applications': https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/nativeclient
3. Disable Allow public client flows in the Redirect URI settings.

 

Please note! Perform this change only after updating to version 98. If you do this beforehand, the connection will no longer work in the current MKG version. Unsure about the required adjustment? Have your IT partner or Microsoft 365 administrator perform this change.
